Ok I don't even watch the Bachelor but this controversy is on every show...BUT
Is there a possibility that this situation was set up for ratings...Everyone is talking about it today right?
Thoughts?? Again I have not watched it once this season. I saw a recap tonight but it seems fishy to me.

I actually am in the minority, I dont think it was a setup at all. I think it worked out that Jason felt the way he did but I dont think things were forced upon him. It only worked out better for ABC this way...

I just figure that the Bachelor has probably not been doing so well ratings wise and this was a great thing for them. If this wasn't staged it was pretty great for them!

I do think after reading all the blogs and seeing last nights afterthe rose with all of the "what-if" questions asked to Molly, that it has been staged.
I think that's why he broke down after sending Molly home. I think he saw Molly after the proposal to Melissa. I think producers told him right before the final elimination that if you want Molly you need to choose Melissa. Now do I think he should have refused? Yes. But I understand that their contracts are pretty strict...but really what can they do, arrest him???
I think he was forced to break up with Melissa on national TV. I think he's a jerk, but I think his contract forced him to do more than he imagined. He should have cleared it all during the ATR ceremony. I also feel that's why Molly kept saying we need to talk about what happened. E-mail communication b/t Melissa and Jason also leaked and Jason tells Melissa he's sorry, but it's what "he had to do."
