I am going to see Dr. Hanauer in a few weeks. She is affilated with Winthrop. She has gotten rave reviews on this board and I am actually so excited for my appointment.

Dr H is the best. I tell everyone about her. I highly suggest her. She is affliated with Winthrop.

I am actually going to see Georgia Vnook in Massapequa in Dec. She has come very highly recommended. She is not a Dr though.

I am actually going to see Georgia Vnook in Massapequa in Dec. She has come very highly recommended. She is not a Dr though.
I use Georgia as well. She is a nurse practionioner but she is fantastic. The other doctors in her practice are OBs so when the time comes I will make the switch. I am not sure what hospital she is associated with though... she is in Massapequa.

I got my appointment the day after I called. There was a cancellation and when I left to make my appointment for 4 weeks from now, the entire afternoon was open.
I was afraid of this...the business being too busy but I really dont think it is.

wow - i am so shocked you were able to get in so easily. i mostly see the RN when i go bc it is so hard to get in with her. also, a couple months ago, they had to cancel my appt (which i had made 2x prior) and couldnt fit me in again for 3x!!!

the hospital on 107 was Massapequa General - its closed.

I go to Dr. Jessica Jacob in New Hyde Park and I love her. I've been going to her for about 10 years now. She was great before my pregnancy, during and after.

i got to womens contempary care in mineola. walking distance to the hospital (winthrop). i see dr. elena kastner. i've been going there for about 5 years now...
i'm happy with her

My sister used Francine Fradella for the delivery of her first daughter and she delivered at Winthrop. I think she was happy with her at the time. She was located in Massapequa, I believe.

Dr. Hanauer & TTC over 40
I saw Dr. Hanauer when she was at Bethpage Ob/Gyn. I don't really like the other doctors there and it seems like each time I find someone I sort of like, they leave! WTH? So now I am 40 & TTC # 3 on Cycle # 3. I don't want to use Bethpage for OB and since Dr. Hanauer moved practices I have been getting mailings from them. I guess she took her patient list with her. So...does anyone know how they are over there in terms of testing etc. when TTC over 40? I'd like to start basic testing now instead of waiting until 6 mos have passed. If there is a problem I don't want to waste any time.
