We were just driving home and THERE WERE PEOPLE TRICK OR TREATING!!!! What in the world????

Nope, we're in Patchogue now. The weird thing is, it wasn't just one small neighborhood. It was like on one block we saw a few people trick or treating then a few blocks away some more people, etc. SO WEIRD!

I was talking to someone who lives out of state and they have a no trick or treating on the weekend law in their town so tonight is trick or treating! Isn't that weird??

dh and i figured it was midnight and saw our neighbors up and playing beer pong for the six night in a row (i really can not wait to get out of apartment) we went out and said trick or treat they gave us beers. Then again the neighbor's across the street also have a damn camper for four months now hooked up to the house and someone living in it.

Someone at worked yesterday asked me which day I planned on taking the kids trick-or-treating I was because I didn't we had an option to go on any day but Halloween!

Some neighborhoods may have a trick or treat night that isn't Halloween. My DH grew up in Hershey, PA and trick or treat night is never the same day as Halloween for some reason.
I find that really strange, and DH can't get used to the idea that kids around here always trick or treat ON Halloween. Every year he asks me which day is trick or treat night, and I'm like, "Halloween, like it is every year..."
