Ok, my paranoia has finally set in
Ali learned to roll onto her belly And in the middle of the night I go into her room to find her sleeping on her belly - and she was out - snoring and everything! I rolled her over and I didn't sleep the rest of the night, cause I had to keep checking on her. What did you do when your baby started doing this? Did you leave them? Did you turn them over?

I turned her over for awhile, then the ped said I could leave her.
But for a long time she would flip on her belly but couldn't flip back so she would scream and I had to get up to flip her anyway.

Re: Ok, my paranoia has finally set in
I was paranoid at first constnatly checking....but the joy of real sleep was GREAT. As long as she can turn her head when belly down, let her sleep!

I always left all my kids. once they start lifting thier heads and rolling over they are safe. You will amke yourself crazy if you try to roll her over each time she goes on her belly.

I freaked out the first time too and kept rolling him over. At the next ped visit, the ped said I could leave him on his belly.

Re: Ok, my paranoia has finally set in
Ava's been rolling onto her belly since she was only a few weeks old. I finally gave in because she had great head control. Now she can roll from back to belly and belly to back, so I don't worry as much. But honestly, I'm sure she'll be fine, just make sure her sheets are on tight.

Re: Ok, my paranoia has finally set in
unfortunately DD won't sleep on her belly. When she rolls onto her belly she screams and I have to get up and turn her over Can't wait til she figures out how to roll back or how to relax and sleep that way.

Re: Ok, my paranoia has finally set in
I turned them back for awhile until I realized they were belly sleepers. Than I stopped.
Just make sure you have NO toys, stuffed animals or blankets.

Re: Ok, my paranoia has finally set in
Thanks all!
She has been sleeping on her belly so far for a couple of hours. She seems fine with it - me on the other hand - a little stressed out

Re: Ok, my paranoia has finally set in
I haven't slept well since he started doing this a month ago
I am up at least 2 x a night feeling if he is breathing and flipping him over Thank ggodness he doesn't wake up when I do it.
I thought getting the Angelcare would help me to stop stressing but it hasn't. Now I am always testing it out to make sure it is working
