OK, not sure if this is a dumb Q......
Does the baby wear clothes in the hospital?
I mean, do I have to bring actual jammies for him/her to wear or do they just get bundled in the hospital blankies?

Its up to you.. I kept my DD in what they put her in b/c they told me if i put her in my own cloths and send her back to nursery and they change her, theres no guarantee i would get cloths back.. My sil she brought cloths for her DS and put them on him.
do you plan on keeping baby in your room at all times or sending back to nursery.. that should help you decide.

ah thanks!
Why on one of my hospital bag lists does it say onesies and sleepers then? I was ready to pack a suitcase!

It's totally up to you. I packed 3 pajamas and a coming home outfit plus receiving blankets and blanket (boppy too) The second day I dressed my DD in her own clothes. It's a preference and something you totally don't have to do. They dress the baby in a 1/2 onsie (shirt with long sleeves) and diaper. The baby has it's own hat (I brought those too) and is swaddled by the hospital receiving blanket.

They give you little t-shirt type onesies for the baby to wear along with blankets and hats. You may want something to put the baby in when you have visitors but other then that, you just need a little outfit to go home in.
