Ok so I started making a scrapbook for Andrew.

It is double sided so it has 20 sheets. I am doing one for each month since he was born.

And it looks hideous so far!!!!!!!!! I have finished 10 pages so far and it has taken me 6 hours.

I just needed to vent that I am not a crafty person at all!!!!

Step away from it and look at it again in a few days then a few weeks, etc. I often do not like my scrapbook pages at first. I have been scrapbooking for years, and I would still describe my pages as messy but trust me when I say that you will look back and love the old pages you have done!!!

I am sure that it is gorgeous!!! What thing made out of love wouldn't be? You are too hard on yourself.

BTW - 10 pages in 6 hours is good in my opinion...I don't even know if I get that many done in that amount of time and I have been scrapbooking since 2000. If I don't preplan the design it can take me forever.

I agree with the above. I'm so picky about my pages it'll use take me like 2-3 days to decide. THen I hate it. But I get frustrated and put the book away, and when I eventually take it out again, I'm happy with it. If I still don't like it at that point, I redo it, but that's only happened once or twice. My biggest problem is everything is soooo cluttered cause I have so much I want to put.
