Ok so I tried the milk thing...

I gave it to DS straight up. He didn't complain but didn't drink as much as he did with the soy. He only had 3 ounces and then some more went into his cereal.

If he was on soy formula shouldn't he go onto soy milk?

Well he was only on Soy for like 1 month really. He's been on it since after his stomach vurus back in April. When he felt better I still gave him soy formula. I asked the doctor if that was ok and he said yes because it was only a month until his first birthday and that after that he wanted him on regular milk. I'll call him later and double check. But I don't think one month makes a difference.

I assumed he was on soy before due to some sort of milk intolerance. I'd follow what your dr said and keep trying.

Have you mixed the bottle or cup half soy, half cow milk, and then as he gets used to that do 1/4 soy, 3/4 cow and then eventually all cow milk.

It probably is a taste/texture thing and it might take a bit to get him used to cow milk.

I probably would have transitioned him slower... I did that with Michael. I don't remember exactly what I did, but I did it really slowly. I think like 2 ounces of milk and 6 ounces of formula and each couple of days I increased the amount of milk.

Yeah at his next feeding I think I will mix it up. I usually prepare 5 or 6 ounce bottles so i'll 5 ounces of soy and 1 of regular cow's milk...
