ok so you know how many of us had ceremony programs at our weddings...
well, my grandparents 50th anniversary is in 3 weeks and we're have a big party with over 100 people...
I want to create some sort of program and place them at each placesetting..
What can i put in them?
-One page is going to be how they met/where they're from
any ideas for other pages?
the last 2 pages is going to be a family tree with them on top and their great grandkids on the bottom
and yes, i like to give myself work and make myself crazy apparantly since i just suggested to do this task this evening

how about things from their past as a couple? jobs they held, their first house or apartment? special events or occassions like births of children, etc.
if they knwo about the party, why not interview your grandfather and have him tell you thinkgs about his wife and you could type that up and vice versa.... advice for a hppay marriage, what worked or them, what they love about each other, the little things that only they would know, etc.

A "little known facts" page would be cute. Could range from trivial, funny stuff to more profound tidbits.

yes they are thats why before the party, we're having a blessing ceremony at a church

Front cover: Their names/ wedding date/anniversary date/ celebrating 50 years... all that stuff
inside cover: a quote about love? in the middle of the page
page 2- how they met/ the story of them/ significant milestones in their history (raising kids, grandkids, all that)
page 3- maybe you can ask them their advice for a long, happy marriage that they would share with everyone
page 4- a blessing for them or some sort of prayer relating to marriage
page 5&6- family tree
back cover- a special thank you to everyone who came to celebrate them, etc...
(its only 4 actual pages, but front and back...) OR, you could cut half of that stuff out and still have plenty

maybe a description of what their wedding was like- how was the weather- where did they get married, what was their favor and wedding colors etc.

lots of great ideas.
God bless them, happy anniversary ! 
also, instead of stapling the pages, for my wedding I punched holes in the paper and tied with ribbon. came out gorgeous. also, try to use thick paper so it lasts longer for you to keep.
and I cut the edges of the paper with the artsy crafts scissors.
please post pics of it when youre done !!.

you can do a "this date in history" for the date of their anniversary. i did that in our wedding program so i looked up other things that happened on may 29th. i found a lot on the internet.

how bout listing the words to their wedding song? I did that in our programs just to fill up some empty space.

Who was president
What was the most popular tv show/radio program?
etc.
