ok, the Mei Tai, the Angel Pack, or the Beco??

Anyone have any of these carriers??

I see that the Mei Tai is "tied" and the angel pack is buckled..this seems like the biggest difference..so it makes me wanna say i should get the Angel pack..seems more secure..
The beco i think is buckled too..and it says its easier to nurse in the beco, moreso than the Angelpack..

this is the LAST thing i need to buy b4 lil man comes along..
any suggestions ladies??

I didn't get the Beco until DS was 7 months old, but I love it. I think I nursed in it once or twice and didn't have any issues. I never looked at the other ones. I found it easier to put DS in it when DH helps me. That would be my only complaint about it, but I assume it would be easier to maneuver a newborn in it.

I love the mei tei. DS is in it right now, sleeping cozily on my chest. I still haven't figured out how to nurse him in it...and I'm not sure I will. I like the tie feature because it's very easy to do (although at first I was very confused). Buckles are too loud in the dryer, which is smack dab in the middle of my kitchen..so that's a consideration for me. But, as far as him feeling secure....I have no worries in the Mei Tei...

I love the angel pack and the Becco... I've tried both and they were both very comfortable.

The Becco has more straps than the angel pack

for what age? for newborns i liked my moby wrap the best (or any other stretchy wrap). easiest to nurse in, get them in and out of, and i found that dd felt more secure in it. once she got bigger i used a mei tai and i lillebaby (kinda like an ergo). i HATE the lillebaby. the buckles make it easier to strap on, but it's SO uncomfortable. the mei tai is much nicer. i love it!

i'm a baby carrier addict though. i have 5 (only bought myself 2 though - the rest were gifts!) and i want a woven wrap next, but am trying to resist! Chat Icon

I have the Beco.

I didn't use it until DD was a little older...and then when she was over 1 as a back pack...LOVE it.

We use the Mei Tei and love it. I feel like its very secure, and it doesn't hurt my back like other carriers. My DH likes it too. I got mine from babyhawk.com

eta: For a newborn I prefer a pouch sling.
