DD has been giving me problems going down at night...then the past few days she's been waking up at 530 AM, she normally got up between 630 and 7...and now she was napping sooooo well..I would get a good hour and half from her in the am and and hour in the afternoon..now she's napping 35 mins in the morning and just got up after 45 mins in the afternoon and doesn't want to go down for a third nap usually..she's a cranky mess, and so am I....What do I do????

I am kind of throwing my "schedule" out the window and its been working to some extent. yesterday they were up at 7 so they went down at 10 and slept 2.5 hours. Then they went down again at 3:30 for 1 hour or so. So I kept them up later last night-til 7:30 or so. Today they woke up at 8 so they weren't ready for a nap until 11. Declan just woke up(1PM) and Ronan is still sleeping. We want to go out to dinner tonight so we will probably give them a late nap-around 4 or so and keep them up until 8:30 or 9.

Unlike when they were babies-I wait until they are REALLY tired now before putting them down-yawning etc. They seem to sleep better and longer that way.

my mom told me to try that...well last night bc she napped like c r a p, we put her down early bc she literally couldn't keep her eyes opened..we're also trying to aim to go out to dinner tonight so she may nap again in the car, I'm hopigng, so I'll see if I can try to keep her up later...

I'm right there with you. He's been waking at 4:45 am and we are so Chat Icon

His naps and bedtime stayed the same, so I have no idea why he is waking up an hour earlier.

Both DC have been waking up crying all night, I don't know if it b/c of time change or something else, but it seems very coincidental.

Liam too has been waking up crying a couple of times during the night (wonder if the age 9.5-10mos). He does go back to sleep after about 5 mos. I hope its just teething. Its annoying

Well all our babies are around the same age right? Could be teething, nightmares, develpmental milestones(cruising, walking etc.) Has anyone tried darkening their rooms?
