ok we need to try dairy for the first time and need some suggestions...

the ped said....yogurt....what yogurt should we get.....cottage cheese?...cream cheese?.....slices of cheese?

what brands? etc

We did yogurt first and then we will do cheese.

I started with about a tablespoon of YoBaby plain yogurt.

3 weeks later and I am STILL trying to figure out if she is reacting to it. Chat Icon

I do not give it to her every day. Some days it seems like she throws up and poops a lot ofter eating it other times she seems fine, other times her cheeks seem rosy, and other times those things happen without eating yogurt.

My dr has never been helpful when it comes to feeding so I had no idea how to introduce this. I am hoping I find some answers here too.

we did plain yobaby yogurt.. she hated it. Then I tried the blueberry yobaby b/c i knew she wasnt allergic to blueberries and she LOVED it.

yo baby - Dr. said just the vanilla and banana ones. not the berry ones :)

what about brands for the cottage cheese, cream cheese, slices of cheese.....does like gerber or one of the baby food companies make these things or do you just get adult food ones?

my doctor said any cheese. I decided to give him yogurt at 6.5 months and then the cheese I haven't given him yet. I figured there were lots of other things to try I wanted to space out the dairy a little. I tried chicken and the other flavors for stage 2 things :)

see this is exactly what im afraid of...as a baby i was allergic to the fat in milk.....i still use skim plus milk 2 this day

see thats what i thought but my mom said when i was little there was a baby food cottage cheese that came with fruit so i figured id ask to see if it still exists
