Ok, what possessed the prego to say yes to....
going to a Yankee game tomorrow? I can barely walk because my back hurts so bad and I insisted that JT only buy bleacher seats because I couldn't make it up all those stairs in the upper deck. However, I failed to remember that the bleachers only have benches and no backs to the seats AND it might rain tomorrow. What the hell is wrong with me? I didn't think I'd see the day that I didn't want to go to a game, but I am dreading the day tomorrow

Oh Rachel
If you are not really up to it, maybe he can go with one of his friends?

I know, I'm slowly hinting that he keep my cousin on back-up. I also mentioned that my back really hurts and I wouldn't be mad if we ate the 20 bucks and didn't go. He's not too happy about me not wanting to go He has a penis, what does he know about being pregnant and not wanting to sit at a baseball game?

Oh man Rachel, the bleachers are rough even when you feel GOOD and aren't preggo .. I sat there once during a Boston game (in the pouring rain no less, until they delayed it) and it was really really rough.. as you said, the worst part is having to sit on those benches with no support for your back..
If I were in your shoes, I think I'd reconsider (and you KNOW I'm as big of a Yankee fan as they come!)

Re: Ok, what possessed the prego to say yes to....
I'm torn because we usually spend so much time at Yankee Stadium in the spring and summer, and this will probably be my one time to go this season since I am only getting bigger by the second and I'm going to have a newborn soon. I don't know. I guess I'll see how I'm feeling in the morning. If I don't want to go tomorrow, he'll just have to deal.

I don't think it is worth it for you to go - but that is my opinion. I know when I went to Lamaze class the other day - and we had to sit on the floor for 15 minutes - with no back support it was hell I hope your DH understands

Ok, I decided not to go. JT was a good sport about it, but he didn't want to waste the tickets, so he took my little cousin with him. I feel bad because now his one day off till next weekend, not even this weekend, will be spent with a 12 year old kid. But I just know I'd be miserable there today.

I was going to suggest getting one of those portable chair back things for bleachers.
