Okay - do men just PRETEND to be this clueless?
I telling DH the list of things I still had to do today - clean the house, cook dinner, bathe the baby, etc. Then I said, "Oh, and I also have to go buy formula."
And all this before the baby's next feeding in 3 hrs.
So you know what he says? "Oh, honey. That's too much to do in such a short time... so why don't you leave some of it for tomorrow."

Nope, I think some men don't have any concept of time. My DH is wonderful but I think we operate on different planes with regard to time. (Though I should not gripe- I am such a procrastinator too!)

I guess he didn't get the hint that maybe he could run out and get the formula. If it was a woman who you were saying this to we would just say, "OK, how can I help?" They must not have that part of the brain.

Well I wonder if a shoe to that side of the head would get my DH's brains working because if he doesn't I am telling you he is going to find my heel firmly implanted in his azz!

I don't think they pretend. DH is getting on my last pregnant nerve today as well. Imagine if he cooked breakfast AND cleaned up the kitchen for his 9 month pregnant wife!! AHHHHHHHHH!

Re: Okay - do men just PRETEND to be this clueless?
DH just doesn't get hints at ALL. I can hint and hint and hint for a day straight and he still won't get it. I have to flat out ask him for help or else I end up doing it on my own
