Okay I know that I have a belly but...
I have only gained 12 lbs total and I think it is all in my belly. But in the past 2 weeks I have had 3-4 strangers say to me only one in there huh? Are you sure? I KNOW that DD is measuring ahead (6lbs at 32weeks 6 days - so they estimate her about 7 1/2 lbs now) but WHO SAYS THAT? The funny part is I think I was bigger with DD but NO ONE ever askd me that question.

People can just be stupid. When I was a few weeks shy of delivering DS - I was up probably about 26 lbs and everyone kept telling me how great I looked and then, at a family event, one of my older male cousins asked me - "are you sure you are not having twins" - and NOT in a joking way - and he kept saying it over and over again the whole night - You are too big to just have one baby in there. Whatever - he was just a moron

I know but this was yesterday at Bloomingdales when I was buying the baby a coming home outfit - I kinda of wanted to say don't you think I would be buying 2 to the sales clerk but hey....

People are so rude... I feel the same as you. I'm carry all in my belly and didn't gain too much at all. I'm 39 weeks and sometimes I get... You're 9 months! Wow, you're still so tiny. and others say.. Wow, you're so big. People don't know what to say, but if you don't have anything nice to say...
My fav is... now you make me look small.

I mean I can see where people don't know what to say - but hey - your carrying all belly or your carrying large I guess to me is better than - wow only one in there are you sure? Or You sure it isn't twins? (no offense to those who are carrying twins!)
