"maintain" while pregnant? or do u still get waxed and all that stuff....i was always curious...plus im wicked bored at work........

and BTW, the pregnancy thing- i shave my legs like, once every 2 weeks- the hair does NOT grow (i guess that goes along with the hair on my head not falling out either...)

weird....

I just posted my experience. At 31+ weeks, I am still a waxer!

not a waxer, just a shaver. i admit it takes some flexibility ...and i usually ask DH to check to see if i'm bleeding afterwards! Chat Icon

At 37 weeks, i figure i must keep at it...i've made it this far, right? Chat Icon

Re: okay, maybe TMI, but do you all preggers...

i got a wax once, pre-PG. i HATED it. it was SOOOO painful and i had red bumps for over a week.

i am sticking to shaving from now on. when i can't see my va-jay-jay anymore i'll just let it grow. i don't really care for myself, i just do it for DH really. he'll have to deal.

and no i'm not gonna ask him to do it for me!!!

I can still see down there so I still shave, I guess I will have to get waxed closer to my due date, my hair on my legs grows very slowly so I shave my legs 2 days a week.

Re: okay, maybe TMI, but do you all preggers...

So far maintenance has not been a problem for me. When I get larger and rounder I will make DH do it for me.

Which is actually something I am dreading, not because of embarrassment, but because he is such a perfectionist and he will require so much time to complete such a simple task. Chat Icon

32 weeks and I still wax. I had heard too many stories before I was pregnant how hard it was to shave down there so I just continued to wax - although it does hurt a little bit more lately.

Lord it is difficult. Not even the seeing, but the reaching! The razor doesn't feel safe in my hands.

But I try. And I have internals soon. Hooray.

Myleg hair is like non existent. Not that I was very hairy before, but it grows even slower now. I love it.

Re: okay, maybe TMI, but do you all preggers...

I have zero visability down there, so definitely no shaving! I've always been a waxer though, so that's what I'm doing. I put it off longer than usual though.

Just a word of advice though, I hear that if you're not well shorn when you head to the hospital, they shave for you!Chat Icon Chat Icon
