Okay, one more ebay question. I promise it's my last!
Thanks to everyone who has helped me through my very first auction!
How long is it normal to wait for payment or response from the buyer?
The auction ended March 17th at 10:30. I didn't fully know the protocol, so I emailed her, and asked her what payment option she would like. I didn't hear back, but the next (late morning) I sent an invoice in case the email was in her spam filter. In the note section of the invoice I said that if she wants to do money order, just let me know and I'll give her my address.
I haven't heard anything yet. Should I wait one full day now and then just contact her via Ebay message tomorrow morning? I don't want her to think I'm bad at communicating, and end up getting bad feedback. But at the same time, I don't want to be too pushy. What do you think?

I would wait a little longer. Also always contact her via Ebay message. But in the next listing always state when you expect payment in your listing. what I did when I first started listing thing was read other sellers listing. Take things from them (Just don't copy word for word because someone may report you)

I always state payment is required within 4 days of auction close (I feel that is sufficent time for paypal and enough time to send out a USPS money order).
Def. keep sending invoices daily. If after 7 days you don't hear from her, file an unpaid report on ebay. Then ebay will begin contacting them. After 8 days, you can file to get your final value fee back and I would then offer it to the next highest bidder (2nd chance offer).

Oh that's true. I did say within 3 days. So it ended Monday, and that would leave Thursday at 10:30. It's just that when I do Ebay auctions, I always pay immediately. But I guess not everyone does that.

at least 90% pay within 2 days I notice. There are some slackers that sadly need reminders and then there is a small percentage that don't pay and don't communicate. Those are the ones I leave neg. feedback and block from bidding.

So how will I know if I was paid? Do I have to keep logging into paypal, or will I receive an email? Thanks!
