Okay what do I do for clothes????????
I am so confused as to what to do.
I soooo need some new stuff as I am currently wearing the same things over and over to work (thank God I am in a casual dress environment).
My issue is that I am currently only 13w6days. Although my belly is getting rounder, no bump. I do have a "bloated" type belly but most of my clothes are okay.
I have no idea of when I am going to pop and what size to go to.....????? I am thinking of maybe starting to go up a size or two just to be prepared???
I do not feel like I am at the maternity stage yet but it could happen within a week I don't know......????
This post just made me even more confused but is anybody in or has been in the same boat???

Re: Okay what do I do for clothes????????
I am 18 weeks and my maternity clothes are still big, but my regular clothes don't fit. I use the bella band to hold up my pants and I bought some smaller maternity tops for the beginning. This is my 2nd child and if I remember correctly I think my clothes fit somewhere around my 25th week.
Do you know anyone who you can borrow stuff from for now? I got a lot of hand me downs which came in very handy.

I use the Bella Band for my old clothes and even to keep some of the maternity pants (that are a lil big right now) up - kind of like a belt. I am 16 weeks.

Re: Okay what do I do for clothes????????
i have a small bump, and the secret fit belly pants from motherhood maternity fit me very well, and seem like they will grow with me. i was wearing stretchy pants for a while but they just got too uncomfortable because they squished my belly. check out motherhood maternity or destination maternity - the prices are reasonable and if you're like me, you will be able to wear them for a while
i have a bella band but that didn't work for me once my hips and azz stopped fitting in my regular pants

Re: Okay what do I do for clothes????????
i ordered maternity pants pretty early, even though i really didnt need them- they have really grown with me pretty well- some of them i can fold down the top of the pants- they also have some pants that have a "real waist" Those were great early on, and they still work even after I have stared to pop...

The secret fit belly pants are great. At almost 35 weeks, they are the only pants that still fit comfortably. They definitely grow with you.

Re: Okay what do I do for clothes????????
why don't you go try on some maternity clothes and see how they fit. you may want to get some tops in a bigger size but not maternity yet. I tried clothes in a larger size but they only helped me out for 2-3 weeks. Luckily they were hand me downs from a friend. Maternity was much more comfortable. I bought things with some room but that weren't too big and most still fit now at 26 weeks.

I bought things a little bit big and they don't fit anymore (I am 34 weeks). I would definitely buy a size or two up (where you can).

Re: Okay what do I do for clothes????????
Someone on here told me to get Bootcut leggins from New York and Co. and it was the best thing I bought. I bought my regular size and I still am wearing them with a little over 4 weeks to go. I have dressed them up and dressed them down, I thank god I found them!

Re: Okay what do I do for clothes????????
just go to motherhood maternity.... they have pillows in their fitting rooms. I'm sure you can find some maternity clothes that fit right now (maybe a little loose, but still functional), yet expand enough to accomodate the pillow bump.
I'm 12 weeks and have been shamelessly wearing loose maternity jeans for 2 weeks now. sooooo comfy

Re: Okay what do I do for clothes????????
I definitely can relate since i had bloating from day 1 and it was horrible. So i bought maternity pants around 9 weeks i believe. I just got 1 or 2 pairs from target (since i didn't want to spend a lot) to see how they were and they were perfect.
I have since bought a few pairs from gap and motherhood. I just popped around 22 weeks.
But if you're uncomfortable now, get shopping!
