I brush DD's teeth twice a day, and have even started giving her breath mints and she still has pretty bad breath. Is it something I should bring up to the doctor? I have no idea what it could be, I keep her mouth very clean.

is she on any medication? Sometimes that affects breath. If not, I would mention it to the dentist.

Id say ask her Dr or dentist...have them check her tonsils...do you see any white spots on them? not puss, but sometimes bacteria can build up in "crypts" (holes)we have in our tonsils causing yucky smelling breath.

does she have allergies or post nasal drip?

I agree with DanaRenee, check her tonsils and/or postnasal drip. Medication too will definitely affect this. Give the doctor a call.
