Ok...need advice ....Flying soon

Should I buy Ava her own seat for an extra $300 or put her on my lap? We are going to Florida? I would really like to save the money but if she will drive me nuts the entire time then maybe it's worth it....what do you guys think?

dont waste the money - I am sure she will end up in your lap anyway.

Dont waste your money. Chances are there will be one extra seat on the plane the day you fly.

When you get to the airport, ask if it is a full flight. If there are open seats ask the clerk to move your seats to a row that has an extra seat and you DD can sit in it.

Then it is up to you whether or not to bring the car seat. You can always bring it and then check it at the gate if there is not an available seat.

it's only a 2 hour flight.. i would just put her on my lap... if you are lucky she'll sleep.. i always bring coloring books and crayons and just let them color on those trays.. it keeps my kids busy believe or not all the way to florida!

For that short a flight, I would do lap. We have for every flight so far and she has been fine- even on flights that are 5 or more hours.

i am going to say the opposite. buy a seat. i dont know how old your dc is, but hannah is one and all she wants to do is move. there is no way in H*ll she will sit on my lap. we are traveling in 2 weeks to VA and we bought the extra ticket.
