OK.....so lamaze......
has literally scared the SH IT out of me...i think i changed my mind LOL LOL....i only have gone to one class and i have 3 more to go....

i haven't taken it, yet. my class is actually this coming saturday from 9:30a - 5p. we're doing a whole day thing. how the heck am i gonna stay up for that?? anyway, knowing me, i'll need to be prepared for anything so this class will certainly (i hope) calm me down.

I just finished a Bradley class and found it to be very informative and more than just labor. It talked about how to take care of myself in the last few weeks, how to recognize labor, exercises to prepare for labor, relaxation techniques and a lot of post partum stuff about how much you bleed and how you may feel for a few weeks.
It also helps that my teacher shared a lot of stories and didn't just read from a book.

I agree with this, I am taking a childbirth class. I am being induced so some of the comfort measures I will not be able to do (walking around, sitting in a chair, warm baths)...but I think it is very informative. It also includes taking care of baby and infant CPR....I think it is worth taking

I took one class that covered everything, breathing, what to expect, drug options, when to come to the hospital, what to look out for, etc. That was enough for me.

I took the childbirth class when I was pg with DS, I won't say it scared me. It was more of a reality check. It was very comforting to see and learn about all the tools, medications and procedures before actually going through labor. When I got to the LDR room everything seemed familiar to an extent.
