OK..this may be old news but what happened to Jack FM (101.1)?
All of a sudden its back to CBS FM..what happened???

I heard this was going to happen..they were talking about it a few weeks ago not sure of the reason why.

They were doing poor in the ratings so it switched back over to CBS last Thursday or Friday. I switched to 104.3. I really liked Jack.

I really can't believe that Jack was doing worse than CBS.....but I guess with all the baby boomers.....
Either way, my in-laws are very happy!

It was somewhere in the double digits as far as ratings. In no way can I remember the actual number.

The last year Oldies was on the radio they pulled in $40 million in ad sales. The highest Jack has pulled in a year is $16 million ... and that folks is what drives radio --- nothing else but ad dollars

I'm so happy the oldies are back on...Jack was ok - but I could listen to that music on any other radio station...cbs was/is the only oldies station in the area...
