why the freag do they keep getting bumped????? 
(sidenote- i was just sitting here feeling bad that Randi was having job issues again when i realized that the thread was from MARCH)

I'm kinda new to this posting business, but could it be that when you look at a post and it shows the posts that are "related" at the bottom, that ppl are clicking on them and responding??

Well, you've made a wise decision, even if you have to deal with that guy. I think having me as a SIL certainly outweighs the cons

yeah.. i figure thats what it is-- but it gives a warning that its old...
its jsut funny b/c you see everyone responding-- and youcan tell who Does or doesn't read the whole thread.... because they just add their answer and go on their merry way

It does seem that the old posts are bumping up a lot more frequently... AND with the warning- I don't get it. I guess also if you are not a long-time poster-- you may not realize that the related posts have no time significance related to them. Certainly, that is something that can be written into the code that determines what gets displayed-- a date relevance.
And for the record, I love my new job, get paid more than I did at the job I detested and now I have my side business going for added personal and professional fulfillment! Yes my friends, the world is good.
