Old School Real World - Puck
Maybe he would have been better off sticking to his bike.
David Rainey, much better known as Puck from The Real World's seminal San Francisco season, remains hospitalized and unable to speak after getting into a serious car crash with 8-year-old son Bogart in San Diego last Friday.
"The initial fear was that Bogart was in worse shape and may not live, but he has fully recovered and back home as of today," rep Michael Martin told E! News.
"Puck is in much worse shape and still in the hospital and can't even speak."
According to Martin's blog, Puck has "had several surgeries most prominently for his neck."
So what happened?
"It was a solo roll-over crash," California Highway Patrol Officer Ray Scheidnes told E! News. "The vehicle went off the roadway and ended up going over the side of the road."
It's still unclear what injuries Bogart suffered in the crash, though he reportedly bruised several major organs.
The incident took place around 9:30 p.m., when the duo was on a father-son fishing trip. There's no official word on the exact nature of Rainey's injuries or what caused the crash to begin with, though there were reports he swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
"Our prayers and best wishes are for Puck and his family that he makes a full recovery as well," Martin said.

Why is it that I think he intentionally tried to a stunt and it ended up this way?

No, that was Neil (pretty sure that was his name)
Puck was on RW San Fran with Rachel Campos and Pedro Zamera and that cartoonist Judd who married the doctor Pam. He was so vile that season.

They are now saying he was drunk
So he will be charged with DWI and child endangerment
If its true, that is just so irresponsible. You dont drink and get in a car with your child (or by yourself or anyone else for that matter0

First thing I thought was drunk driving.
The second thing I thought, when I read that he is unable to speak, is brain injury.

What a D!ck...
Puck from "The Real World" was allegedly blasted when he wrecked his car last week -- seriously injuring himself and his 8-year-old son.
The CHP tells TMZ they will arrest Puck for driving under the influence and driving without a license when he gets out of the hospital.
Puck's son was in the car and was seriously injured. As a result, Puck will also be booked for child endangerment.
Puck blames the accident on a deer in the road, but cops say he was just driving drunk.
Puck is nursing broken bones in both feet, as well as a broken neck, sternum and clavicle
