OMG - Don't have to worry about the kid next door burning down the house

Last night was crazy. Me and FH are in the kitchen making dinner and we here all this crazy banging next door. Next thing we know we hear choppers over the house.
There were about 20 cop cars 2 amblances and 2 choppers flying over head.
The kid flipped out and trashed the whole house. The father called the cops and told the cops "he doesn't have any weapons cause i just did a sweep of his room last night".

After all was said and done, me and FH went for a walk downt he block to move the car (plus to talk with the people that were out on the blockChat Icon ) and the father and older brother was sitting on our steps so the father was appoligizing to us for all the noise. He then went on to tell us the story as to what happened. The kid (who really isn't a kid, he is in his early 20 but i call him a kid cause that is what he acts like) is Bi-Polar and has gone off his meds. plus the father told us that once a week he sweeps the kids room for weapons and drugs. And that he shouldn't be around for 20-30 days depending on how long they keep him.

I am calling Geigo tonight to get the ball rolling on the renters insurance. I think once the wedding is over and all paid for we are going to look for another place to live.

Wow, what a night. I know firsthand what happens to someone bi-polar who goes off their meds. Thankfully no one was hurt and the father called the authorities
