OMG - I just got a $2,200 bill from EI for the month of September
I really hope this is a mistake.
NJ has the cost share. However, it was my understanding from our social worker that all families are capped at a certain amount based on income. Needless to say mine is significantly less than $2,200 per month.
I just really hope this is wrong. It has to be. I can't imagine they would expect a family to pay this much. But I'm completely freaked right now.

Of course I wasn't home in time to call them today but bet your arse first thing tomorrow morning I will be on the phone with them. But of course in the interim I'm having a heart attack.

If they say it is, I would ask to speak to every single person possible to tell them that this is IMPOSSIBLE

I feel for you - my health insurance is a cost share plan  - hopefully this was a mistake.

Oh wow - I am sorry. My old boss got a bill like that and unfortunately it was correct. She was able to call our health insurance and had some of it reduced by that, but not all of it....
