OMG get this baby out!
I've been having irregular contractions for THREE DAYS. I can barely move because it feels like I've been punched in the vagina and upper thighs. I've lost my plug. And yet - NADA.
With DS, my water broke at 2am and he came 12 hours later. That was it. Nothing else. This protracted labor thing is so frustrating because I'm so uncomfortable and it's not going anywhere!
Sorry. Just needed to vent.

I was 5 days past my due date with both pregnancies. I have a 7 month old & my contractions hit hard at 6 pm . My son was born at 10:02pm.
Try to relax. Maybe eat something spicy or is that a myth? Lol.

Ugh I feel your pain. With dd I had preterm labor with dd at 35 weeks and it continued til I had her at 39 weeks. With my last pregnancy, I had irregular contractions from 31 weeks on (not Braxton hicks). When he was born at 37 weeks, he had an indent around his head at ear level because he was that far down. He missed the memo he was going to be a csection. Hang in there!

I'm going for a prenatal massage at 3. With DS, I had a massage Friday afternoon at like 2, and went into labor that night at 2.
Even if it doesn't help, maybe it will ease some of the discomfort.

I 100% understand. I did a lot of walking on Tuesdayand that seemed to be the trigger. Good luck!

I had contractions, sometimes very regular, for weeks. Pregnancy can be cruel. I wish you better luck than I had!

OMG get this baby out!
I remember with our first, the end REALY s*cks! I tried EVERYTHING (minus castor oil) to get baby out! I hope the massage started something. Not going to lie, I have been CRAZY stalking you hoping baby comes out!

Im glad I got my tubes tied cause Im feeling everything i did with my pregnancies all over again thru your posts. I have such empathy for you. I hope baby comes out ASAP!!!

I don't know what else I can do to make it less comfy in there for it. I've had Mexican food, eggplant parm, chinese food, I've had a prenatal massage, I've been walking, bouncing, squatting, I had sex (good lord sex at 38 weeks is an interesting assignment), climbing stairs, I did chores....
My mom suggested driving super fast down a bumpy road. Anyone know any bumpy roads in or around Oceanside?

clearly, he/she is not ready to leave the comfort of being with you all the time.
Maybe stop trying :) if this is one stubborn baby, perhaps they dont want to be told what to do lol

When did you deliver your first? My obgyn told me that history tends to repeat itself. And he was right, I delivered at 41 weeks with both of mine.
Hope it's not too much longer!!!
Go for a nice long walk tomorrow, hopefully the weather will be nice.

Thank you for asking. I woke up at 4 and lost another big piece of mucus plug and have had cramping since, but still nothing regular. It's super exhausting, physically and emotionally.

Did you need a note from the dr. for the prenatal massage?
I did some squatting the afternoon before I went into labor. Maybe keep trying that.

Nope, no note! Although that may be because I LOOK 300000 years pregnant. If you're in your second trimester they may want a note.

Try bouncing on a yoga ball for an hour. I did that and it caused me to lose my mucus plug.

I have! Many times over the past few days. I've lost my plug. IN 2-3 big chunks, the last one early this morning tinged with blood so I KNOW it was my plug. I literally have done every little thing in the books. I just have to wait the kid out.
It wouldn't be so bad if I was just waiting, but I'm having irregular, somewhat painful contractions, so I'm waiting AND it FEELS like I'm in labor but it keeps stopping and starting.
