Thank you all for your concern. They actually think it is my gall bladder?! Anyway they took some blood and told me to eat very bland the next few days.

Not really it comes and goes. I'm toughing it out
They gave me a prescription for 10 painkiller pills. I'll only take one at bedtime and that is so I can sleep.

if its your gall bladder, stay away from fatty foods. I thought I was dying after a tablespoon of peanut butter, went to the ER was admitted and had surgery 2 days later.
Does the pain radiate to your back too?

I had a pain in my side also for 2 weeks, it was on my right upper quadrant and I wound up in the hospital for a week with a suspected Hiatus Hernia and a Stomach Infection. Go to the hospital if its really bad....or call your emergency doctor. Good Luck!!!
