I would tell you to switch to decaf, but according to my MIL that's not allowed either! Chat Icon

I would so totally take you outside and tell you all about tea if you were here with me. I have to say that is shocking. Of course tea is better in the UK...its the water! Tea in the UK is better in some areas. Its like having a bagel outside of NY...NO GOOD. You can use the same teabag in the states and its nowhere near as good as a gorgeous mug of Twinings Everyday or Tetleys...no siree bob.

I will say that after living in the UK, whenver I have a cup of tea when I'm home, it feels like it takes AGES to steep! I find the tea here much stronger.

Re: OMG I am now drinking my 7th cup of tea...

...sigh...I seriously need to get back to England and have a proper cup of tea. I got a catalog in the mail yesterday from some food place and Devon cream was one of the items they sell. Is it sad that I want to send myself a gift basket???

Don't know about tea, but all I ate in the UK was Cadbury. SO SO much better than any chocolate here!

I work in the Fairway shopping center in Plainview. I've only been in there once. It sounds like I should check it out though!

Re: OMG I am now drinking my 7th cup of tea...

I know from experience that racheeeee makes an amazing cup of tea - I like PG tips but the water makes a big difference. It's richer at racheeeee's!

The best part of visiting her (other than seeing Noah) last year was walking to the local market - picking up some fresh scones, clotted cream and her tea!!

My dad eats clotted cream w/ a spoon. Try it on strawberries!

I love PG tips - those you can get at Stop & Shop.
