I would tell you to switch to decaf, but according to my MIL that's not allowed either!

don't feel bad, i am on my second cup of chai tea but the cups i use are big enough to qulaify as two or three servings
i wonder, is the tea in the UK better than in the US? now there's a debate!

I would so totally take you outside and tell you all about tea if you were here with me. I have to say that is shocking. Of course tea is better in the UK...its the water! Tea in the UK is better in some areas. Its like having a bagel outside of NY...NO GOOD. You can use the same teabag in the states and its nowhere near as good as a gorgeous mug of Twinings Everyday or Tetleys...no siree bob.

Yeah you would think that wouldn't you. But you are soooooooooooo wrong. So wrong that there isn't any evidence for me to prove how wrong you are. Thats how wrong you are. Wrong Wrong Wrong. Mad Lizzy invented tea. and she also invented the stapler.

I will say that after living in the UK, whenver I have a cup of tea when I'm home, it feels like it takes AGES to steep! I find the tea here much stronger.

I completly agree with you! When we were in London last year I was like a coke fiend with the tea! At least three cups a day. I miss english tea

Re: OMG I am now drinking my 7th cup of tea...
...sigh...I seriously need to get back to England and have a proper cup of tea. I got a catalog in the mail yesterday from some food place and Devon cream was one of the items they sell. Is it sad that I want to send myself a gift basket???

Don't know about tea, but all I ate in the UK was Cadbury. SO SO much better than any chocolate here!

yeah, there's a reason why I buy groceries all the way in plainview when I live out east in port jeff Their killer cheese dept is reason #1. The olive bar is #2. The nuts and trail mixes are #3..... I'm soooo envious of people who live across the street

OMG my parents just booked flights to come over for New Years and my dad said "get the clotted cream ready" so I now have to warn all the cows in devon that my dad is going to eat clotted cream liberally with a spoon...

I work in the Fairway shopping center in Plainview. I've only been in there once. It sounds like I should check it out though!

Re: OMG I am now drinking my 7th cup of tea...
I know from experience that racheeeee makes an amazing cup of tea - I like PG tips but the water makes a big difference. It's richer at racheeeee's!
The best part of visiting her (other than seeing Noah) last year was walking to the local market - picking up some fresh scones, clotted cream and her tea!!
My dad eats clotted cream w/ a spoon. Try it on strawberries!
I love PG tips - those you can get at Stop & Shop.
