Ok... My best friend moved to vegas. Had 2 beautiful kids. Went to rehab for being addicted to pain killers. Met a guy who was in for heroin. They got out and she got hooked on heroin. She got hep c. One day she kicked her kids out of the house (they were 3 and 6) and her dad took the kids and called the cops on her. She is 5'11 and 105 pounds was stealling money and merchandise to buy her drugs. Ran off to California, No one has heard from her since last year.
She sent me an email saying she has been clean and sober for 65 days

oh that is great about how long she has been sober!!! so happy that she is ok!

I am glad your friend is on the road to recovery... good for her for being clean and sober for 65 days... I will pray that she stay's on that road.

oh wow! I'm happy to hear she's sober now. I hope she keeps it up and get her life back in order

I just spoke to her. She sounds good. Has a bad infection in her leg and if the can't fix it they might need to amputate. She is clean for 65 days but realizes she is a heroin addict and always will be. She could pick it up again tomorrow. She said it's a hard road and she knows she hurt so many people!

OMG...I hope for her sake they don't have to amputate.
And that she stays clean...65 days is a good sign though. Especially if she is on her own. It may mean that she can stay clean, especially since she seems aware of how serous heroin addiction is.
