OMG I just called Target to schedule an appointment for professional pics and

their packages range from $89 and up!!!!! I think that's a lot no? Are there any other options?

Also, they want $99.99 for the CD with the pics!

Should I still go or are there any other better places for professional pics?

I never get packages, such a rip off, especially if you have a quality scanner at home. BUt if you don't, i use JCP portraits, there's coupons everywhere for them and on their website, you can get alot for WAYYY less than target.

Right now you can get a package for 8.99 or 3.99 a sheet with a free 8x10 i believe and sitting fee is waived..


Even at Kiddie kandids, their sheets are 17 bucks each..i get the pose i like in an 8x10 and make duplicates through shutterfly in matte.

Can you just use a coupon and get the $3.99 sheets? We are going next Tuesday fo Christmas photos and we are just going to get a couple of sheets and then Ill scan the photots and make copies through snapfish.

Why so much? They have coupons online, $3.99 a sheet. I've gone to Target to get DD's professional pictures a few times and never paid more than $40 for all of the pics I needed.
I never pay more than $3.99 a sheet.

Ok good so there are options other than the packages! I have a good scanner so I guess that'll work and I can definitely get the sheets!

I think these places are starting to change a LOT more because of the reasons people are listing. Nobody is buying "packages" anymore, they just use the place for the pics and then copy them on their own. I thikn these places are losing a lot of $$ so the base prices are starting to go higher.

I just went yesterday to Sears b.c my dad said he wanted pictures of DD for his bday to put on his desk at work. I didn't get a package but they charged me total for smile club and all photos $60 -

I got 10 sheets (different poses) and a free 10x13. I think it was something like $7.99 a page for the first 5 then it is $2.99 a page after that. I joined the smile club (I think $10 - which gives you no sitting fees and if you do photos mon - thurs they do 2 for 1 on a lot of their things). They also gave me 20% off my whole purchase. You have to pay $3 a sheet if you want the pictures right away or they take about 7-10 days.

The only thing I'm not so happy about was that their computer was slow so they couldn't print the sheet that gives me the password to go online and look at the pictures they told me they would call me yesterday with the info and they didn't - I called at 930 this morning and the girl said she would get right back to me and I'm still waiting. I usually go to KK and like them better because they have more props etc. But they took pretty good pics yesterday and they didn't rush us at all I think we were there for about 1 hr b.c DD kept running around so we had trouble getting her to sit still. They do have packages but I found it was easier to just buy some sheets with them.

I use target all of the time - I go to their website and print coupons and use them - I never spend anywhere near $89 and I get tons of pics and diff poses.
