OMG I think I'm finally feeling real flutters!!!
Whoever described it as a goldfish swimming in a bag, thank you! That helped me decipher whether that's what I was really feeling right now, I felt a brief flutter over a week ago but started to doubt whether it was really a flutter since I didn't feel anything since.....well for the past hour sitting on my couch I've been feeling these pleasant little flutters over & over, totally feels like a "goldfish" swimming around lol  It's so surreal and amazing to have this sudden real connection with this little being growing inside of me!  I told DH and he ran over to try and feel it, I told him its too soon, but omg is he excited!
By the way I'm 18 weeks tomorrow, so I'm guessing this is around the "normal" time to start feeling them?

yup its the total normal time to feel them!!!!!!!!! sooooooooo excited for you, that is THE BEST part of being pregnant right there, my friend, enjoy every minute of it....especially when the flutters turn into drop kicks to your ribcage enjoy them too  seriously though...yay!!!!!!!

Yup exactly when I had felt my first flutters. Now it will gradually get stronger. I felt real kicks ar 20 weeks and i cant remenber the first time dh felt it. I wanna say like 22-24 weeks...
Its the most amazing feeling ever! And it never gets old!

can't wait for the ribcage kicks! I'm guessing that's when pregnancy becomes "omg get this baby out of me already"

hurray for fishy-flutters
i think i was the one who said it felt like a fish. Now they've graduated to love-taps. i'm actually looking forward to the rib-kicks even though i'll probably regret saying that once i feel them

Yup thats exactly what I used to describe it as, a fish swimming around in my belly. Now at 25+ weeks it is full on kicks that I can actually see from the outside and they hurt. Sometimes I feel like his foot is going to pop out lol
