OMG I'm experiencing my first ever
TEMPER TANTRUM!!!!
She was playing with plastic hangers - well just holding them and I took them away to put her down for her nap and then the craziness started!!
The screaming, growling, pounding of fists, kicking of legs - you get the picture I guess ignoring it is best????? So I left her in her crib growling and screaming like a rabid dog. After 5 minutes, it's all quiet (oh thank goodness!!!)
I don't ever want to see another one of those!!!!

Re: OMG I'm experiencing my first ever
Lily's been doing little tamtrums/meltdowns for awhile now. It's bad. I was just reading about it last night after she refused to sit in the bathtub until I finally gave up on the bath. I read the terrible 2's can start at 15 months! DH & I are in alot of trouble. So far I've ignored it or tried to distract her with something else (which usually doesn't work. ) My happy little girl has quite the temper on her.

Get used to keeping your eyes closed, then...
Unfortunately, it's a natural occurrence. She knows what she wants, but can't communicate. Just image how you would feel/act if you were dropped in a foreign country, and couldn't speak the language. I'm sure you'd have some tantrums if you were hungry, but couldn't ask anyone for food, or tired but couldn't ask for a bed, annoyed, but couldn't get sympathy, etc.

Re: OMG I'm experiencing my first ever
DS has been having them since around 12mths. I just ignore him. Lately he will hid or hit is head against things and try to peak to see if I am paying attention. Sometimes he gets all stiff and throws himself on the floor. It is not fun.
