OMG i'm going to the country music festival!! what can anyone tell me about nashville?
just booked the country music festival this june... we will be arriving in nashville the morning of 6/7 and departing the morning of 6/11 and staying at the holiday inn express downtown.
anyone who's been to the festival or just nashville/the area in general - i'd love to know anything you can tell me. what is a must-see or do, or recommendations on places to eat etc?

Downtown is a lot of fun - the last time I was there, we went bar hopping along 2nd Avenue. Lots of live music!
As far as must-dos, there's always the Grand Old Opry... but I've never actually been to a show there myself, just seen the outside.

My daughter and I are going to Nashville next week!! I'll let you know what we find out while we're there. I have no idea what we're doing lol...
