OMG! Is this normal?
DS was on his playmat and put both both feet up into the air and then rolled over on his right side- almost onto his belly. Had his arm not been in the way, I'm sure he would have gone all the way over. I corrected him but he did it again!
This CAN'T be happening already! He's going to be 9 weeks on Tuesday..

Re: OMG! Is this normal?
I don't know if it is normal or not, but Landon has rolled from belly to back since 3 weeks old! But he has not yet rolled from back to belly!

Re: OMG! Is this normal?
Totally normal! The hardest part is for them to get that arm out...so it could take awhile before he figures it out. When DD was about that age she rolled over completely from belly to back a few times, but the dr said it was just a fluke thing that happens sometimes when they turn their heads a certain way or arch their backs...the real rolling over is when they do it on purpose to get something. It sure is cute to watch though!!

Re: OMG! Is this normal?
It is totally possible. DS was able to roll from his belly to his back practically when we took him home from the hospital and, a few weeks later started occ rolling from back to belly in his bassinett. BUT, for him at least, he was propelling his whole body and it was more of an acccident I think b/c as he got bigger he stopped being able to do it as frequently (back to belly) and wasn't able to do it again really until 4.5 mos. HOwever, he kept rolling belly to back from that point on...I guess that was easier...
