OMG just read the saddest story about the mama panda bear and her cubs. Very sad
Did anyone else read the story about the panda mom that had twins, neglected the second born...and accidentally suffocated the first born (the only one she was taking care of)?
OMG, my heart is breaking. They said she is beside herself, tearing up her cage...I read the article online. 
The other baby has been taken from her b/c she wasn't caring for it. They said that's normal for a panda that has twins, as they instinctively don't know how to care for two.
How tragic and sad.

I thought the same thing. I don't think so. She rejects it from the start it seems and I don't think would take it as her own. But I did think of that. Like, why can't she care for the other one now?
