OMG our cat won't shut up
Well Haley is now 7 months old, fixed and all shots done and now starting this week she is SCREAMING and howling all night long. I thought maybe she is loosing her baby teeth but i don't notice any teeth missing/new and we try to play with her at night before bed but she hasn't wanted to socialize with us much.
Dh got out of bed and flung her into a spare bedroom and locked her up (felt horrible) and you could still hear her.
Sleepless nights again <vent over>
BTW stubby just seems to ignore it except for around 6AM they got into a big fight (hissing - big ball of fur tumbling across the floor and screaming) guess she got tired of it as well.

Re: OMG our cat won't shut up
When my cats do this, it's because they aren't getting enough exercise during the day. They are then wide awake at night and want attention. My guys need 30 - 60 minutes a day of interactive play with us - chasing their wands or a laser pointer. Otherwise, they both scream all night long or wake us up at 4 AM.
Our cats are part Siamese, too, which means they "talk" quite a bit generally. They also cry like a human baby when they want attention. It can really grate on your nerves, especially in the middle of the night. We keep them really well exercised and that helps. Some cats need more exercise than others. When our cats were kittens still, they needed more like an hour and a half of exercise a day.
BTW, ignoring them, spraying them with a water bottle, shaking a bottle of coins, etc. all didn't work for mine. They just needed more exercise.
