OMG! PayPal scam - AGAIN
I just got an email from "paypal" subject title "Your payment has been sent" and it was an order for a fruit basket for $109 to someone in Queens.
they even use my first & last name! I checked my history by logging into my account, NOT clicking on the link below which said "click here to dispute transaction". there is no history of this payment, which I never made!
it looks SO legit!

Re: OMG! PayPal scam - AGAIN
it's totally a fraudulent email, it's NOT from paypal, but how the HECK did they get my first & last name? I use my maiden name for my paypal and married name for eBay.
i already reported it to paypal
SO frustrating!

Re: OMG! PayPal scam - AGAIN
It is actually "phishing". The people that send it out don't even know if you have a paypal account. They are just looking for someone to enter their account tnumber then, wham, they are in!
