OMG, the pain!!! Non TTC
UPDATE: OK. so just left the Dentist, I have an infection and he highly recommends I get my wisdom tooth pulled 
My wisdom tooth never cam all the way in so I have a "flap" over my tooth and there is a name for it and he said it will happen again and again unless I remove the tooth. This is in fact the 3rd or 4th time it has happened, so I guess I'm getting my tooth pulled 
I am SO NOT a fan of the dentist! This stinks, guess I'll call when I get AF, cause I have to get general anesthesia.
This sucks!
I think I scratched my gum the other day and it is so painful, 5 days later!!!!!
I am "trying" to call the dentist, whose office waas supposed to open 15 minutes ago and the stupid message says "We are closed until 9:30am" well it's 9:45!!!!!!!!!!
I need a friggin appt, and
I hate the dentist so if they don't open soon, I may just chicken out and not go at all

buy PEROXYL..its in the aisle with all the listerine and mouth care stuff.
its basically a minty peroxide solution. I used it for 3 years when my gums were irriated with blisters from braces. Its the best stuff.
a tad pricey for peroxide..but rinse a few times a day with that.it will help heal the wound on your gums.

Ryan-get your tush to the dentist-do you know how bad a gum infection is? It can get into your bloodstream! Were you around with my dry sockets? Take care of it!

I agree I've used it when I had my wisdom teeth extracted... it is more expensive than peroxide... but it's much easier to handle than straight peroxide...

Do you still have all your wisdom teeth? If so, i would highly recommend when you go in to get one removed you remove the other 3. That way it is over and done with and you never have to worry about them again.

I am sorry. I hate tooth pain. I think its one of the worst pains. Nothing ever seems to help it. I had issues with my wisdom teeth also. The best thing I ever did was to get them pulled. Once there where out it was pain free forever!!

I just had a wisdom tooth removed a few months ago - I was put out and didn't feel a thing. It was a great experience - and this is coming from someone who dreads the dentist. Let me know if you want the guys # who did it - he was great!

And thanks to everyone for all of your well wishes. This morning was horrible, but I feel better now (I am loving Advil at the moment)
