OMG, this Kid is Sick AGAIN.... Help please!
DS has yet ANOTHER ear infection, which I can deal with. BUT, he also threw up all over himself and DHs car on the way to the babysitter yesterday. Fastforward to last night. DS is feeling MUCH better, even took about 4oz of a bottle and slept for the most part all night long. Then this morning had another couple oz of a bottle and a normal breakfast. Kept that down. THEN lunch. Ate lunch and threw it all up.... Is this normal for this tummy bug that's going around? What do I do? And what do I do about his bedtime bottle tonight???? Please help, mommy is in distress. I thought we were done with the throwing up and was TOTALLY expecting to call the babysitter and her tell me he was MUCH better than yesterday. What do I do? I hate that he's sick and I hate that I'm helpless and don't know what to do.

I know how you feel about the ear infections...DS has had several. About the throwing up, I would try to just keep him hydrated. I would buy pedialyte and see if he'll drink that at least if he won't finish his bottles. DS does not really drink his bottles when he's sick either...I think their taste buds are off plus milk is can upset their tummies when their not feeling well. Is he on antibiotics? Is it a different kind? Maybe that is what is making him nauseaus?

He just started the antibiotic yesterday evening, and threw up at 6am yesterday. Before the antibiotic was given to him. Should I keep trying with the bottle? He will drink the Pedialyte jsut fine but I'm just worried that that's not enough for him. Can ear infections cause vomiting?
