OMG This Never Ends!!!!!
I'm sorry, I just need to vent. I thought we were getting through our 100th cold this year WITHOUT an ear infection, which would be next to a miracle. Fast forward to lunchtime today and DS has a fever, AGAIN. He just had this on Easter weekend...... He was NEVER sick when he was first born, last April. Then starting this past November, when DS was about 7 months old, it has been one cold, ear infection, stomach bug after another!!!! I don't know if I'm looking for hugs, advice, or similar stories but I can't quit crying here at my desk at work. I just feel defeated and like I want to go camp out on our couch in the breakroom tonight and get away from it all.... Will it end? And DS's ped says no tubes yet, so that's not an option for us right now........

 Maybe it has something to do with teething. Maybe as he cuts his teeth, the infections will lessen.

This is my hell right now..since Jan 29th. Although we had tubes put in. Gavin is still wheezing, just got over a stomach bug that he gave to me and my DH and is scheduled for surgery on MOnday and we see his asthma/allergy specialist tomorrow to see if he can get it. Its already been cancelled 3 times because he's been sick. All I can give is

DS started daycare in october 2007 and it has been one ear infection, cold, sneeze, stomach virus, cold after another
i am hoping with the nicer weather it will stop

I can relate, my 9 month old DD has had what seems like constant congestion, a virus, pink eye, and 3 ear infections since Nov. I figured with the warmer weather mayb we would be done, but she just started with congestion and coughing again......

I hear you, DS just finished antibiotics for an ear infetcion last thursday. He got sick over the weekend, bad cold, and ran a high fever, so we took him to the Ped. and He has a DOUBLE ear infection now..poor kid can't catch a break.

Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart for responding. I know that this doesn't help you guys, but it makes me feel so much better that I am not dealing with this alone. I hate when he is sick, it just breaks my heart. And to be stuck here at work.... 
For all of you and pray that we all get through this soon.
Quick question... Being outside in the nice weather doesn't bring these things on does it??? We were outside a LOT this weekend, and I hope that's not why he got sick....

Thank goodness!!! I just keep thinking (since he had shorts and tee-shirt on) did I not dress him warm enough? Is it something I'm doing that is making him sick what seems like all the time????
