OMG!!! TMI
Have any of you taken a mirror and looked at what is going on with your VeeJay?
I just shaved and was bound and determined to do a really good job this time..had the shower going and the tub..(thank god there were old people here before me and my tub has those bars) I got the mirror etc..began to shave...WHAT THE $#@%!!!!!!!!!! One side is more swollen than the other..my Labia is all contorted..I had to look it up online and apparently its normal BUT OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (has to do with increased blood flow to the area for the baby)...

I only looked at my "area" once about 3 weeks ago.... it was all dark/different color.  I have not looked even since. I am too scared!

Yep... its a pretty scary sight down there. Swollen to 3 times its normal size... If I were my DH, I think I would be scared of it.

with regard to shaving down there, the last 3 times I was in the shower I looked down at it and was like "I'll tackle that mess next shower!" I keep putting it off b/c I know it wont be easy!

That's what Ive been doing..but then it dawned on me that its been...well since my Level II sonogram and that was on MAY 1st!!!

Well, when they were prepping me for my c-section, they brought in a razor to shave me....when they saw the great job my DH did, they put the razor away and congratulated him on a job well done

OMG I told my DH that some of you girls have your DH's do the shaving and he couldn't believe it....I don't think he will be helping me at all!!

Since I went into labor early and unexpectedly, I hadn't groomed that area before I left for the hospital. Talk about embarassing! My sister was in the delivery room with me and she was like geez you need to shave!

Mine hasn't changed! Now I feel like a freak. I can tell you my nipples have changed A LOT though....big and dark and gross. 
P.s I started getting regular waxes down there at 34 weeks so I'm "prepared" for the big day.

Besides....I'm afraid of what he'd do down there.

i usually wax (my own) well i realized Memorial Day weekend that i'm not as agile/flexible anymore and that won't be happening until post-baby. DH offered to help (lol) but i think i'll hold out for the professional job. it is darker and more swollen

seriously - it is so scary!
i asked dh to help with the grooming...he hasnt brought it up since though 
i cannot do it any longer...it is just too hard, even with a mirror!!!! what are we supposed to do???
