OMG..this acid reflux is killing me..
It only started yesterday, but I cant take it. I havent even eaten much so far, and its already burning a whole in my throat....Im having chocolate milk now...maybe that will help.
What else can i do.

I get this every day
My doctor told me to take tums and zantac if needed. He also said to eat very small meals...when I told him I did his example was...if I eat a sandwich I can't have an apple along with it. So far it hasn't helped!!

definitely try to eat something.
I had a REALLY bad case of it last week (when I ate TOO MANY sour patch kids  )
I ate some creamed soup and ice cream and felt better.

Yup, can't live without Tums. During the day I'm usually okay, but by evening, the reflux is really bad.

I know it sounds crazy, but when I get that, I eat a green apple.
Something about the juice neutrilizes the acid in the stomach.
It really works!!

I feel your pain!!
I get it so bad almost everyday, and then I throw up, and am ok for 15 mins. Tums make me throw up too, so they are no help. Ive just been trying to eat as bland as possible, no red sauce, lots of bread.

My sister has reflux really bad, and now that she is pregnant, she stopped taking Nexium (she's almost 6 weeks).
She does take Tums, but she also told me that chewing gum helps. No idea why, but it's worth a try!

Chocolate is actually one of the things that makes reflux worse, so I dont think chocolate milk is the best choice....lately Ive been getting reflux from everything....including water. Ive never had it until now...I wake up at least every night with a mouth full of acid...gross!!! Rolaids help a little.

i'm convinced that zantac saved me from having a hole burnt through my esophagus from the reflux.
ok, that was a gross thing to say... but i had REALLY bad heartburn!!
