On a lighter note... any plans for the summer?
A lot of things are closed, but some things are still possible, with various levels of restrictions. Anyone doing anything interesting this summer? I know a few people that are doing family camping upstate. I'm organizing a Boy Scout day camp in my yard. Staying within all of the guidelines, we're going to try and do some day camp activities. Welding, chopping wood, merit badges, hiking, etc. I've been on a few hikes so far. Looking to go on a canoe/kayaking trip in Suffolk County soon.
Totally avoiding huge groups of strangers for a while. I'm not comfortable yet going to any amusement parks.

Re: On a lighter note... any plans for the summer?
WE were going to go away ( we already did a big vacation in Feb.) but with so many restrictions, we did not want to spend all that money when things were closed. So my husband and I are taking our annual 3 day trip to Greenport next week, and in August my son has a baseball tournament in New Jersey.

We just got back from visiting my MIL in NH. Didn't really get to do too much, but it was very relaxing.

We went to Lake George a couple of weeks ago which was nice. We are planning on spending a few days later this month in Ocean City, MD as well. My older DS has resumed a bunch of sports and we have camps lined up for him too. Our local pool has opened as well so we are going there to change the scenery up a bit too.

We rented a house on the beach in CT. We have been here since the 6th, coming home August 17th. We mostly do the beach, take advantage of all the outdoor dining places on the water, and go into town for ice cream. We also went about 30 min north one day and hiked. Thinking of some other fun CT day trips we can do, but for the most part we are just relaxing and enjoying not being in NY.

We went to Lake Placid last week which was amazing! Then I just got back from the Roxbury in the Catskills last night. So fun!!! Highly recommend that place. Immaculate. No kids gwtaway. Stopped at Kaaterskills Falls (gorgeous) and then stopped at Mohonk with a day pass. LOVED it there!

We went to Ocean City. It was heavenly. May do that again.
I’ve been going hiking a lot. Getting in tuned with nature for the first time ever. I live next to the Hudson River so the views are awesome.
Small BBQs with the family.

For the most part, it'll just be staying home, in the backyard. But I am lucky to have a nice pool and good yard for entertaining, so I try to have a small get together (very small - like 2-6 people ) every weekend

We rented a tiny house for glamping. I’m hoping we can still do OC MD end of Aug.

Same!
I was thinking of a trip to Lake Placid or Seneca Lake area but haven't really looked into it yet.

Re: On a lighter note... any plans for the summer?
No vacation plans.
We were supposed to be in Disneyland early July but no go.
I feel fortunate that our flight was modified so I was able to get a refund and I don't have a credit hanging over my head.
But our local pool opened - plus we sometimes use our in laws' pool anyway - and now DS is playing baseball. All in all it's mostly a regular summer other than no trips.

We went upstate to visit family. Also we just came back from a few weeks in Virginia at a timeshare. Wish we could have stayed longer. Relaxing and stores not insane like up here, like my local Costco which always has a wait.

We visited our family on LI last week. I don’t know the next time we’ll visit as I was anxious the entire time.
Other than that, we are just going to our swim club daily. It gets us out of the house and we go early so we do not need to worry about it being crowded.
