On my way home from the dr.
I am on my way back from NYC-i had my first remicade infusion this morning. It was a bit tricky-i have weak veins and it took three tries but we got a vein. Then the connection was leaking-they gave me some stuff and I wound up sleeping. DH is incredible-he stayed with me the entire time. They also did some bloodwork and I will need a bone density scan (so I guess I have to do that asap because it is an x-ray). I am groggy and weak, but okay. Just praying now. Next infusion is in two weeks.

They can't give me a time frame. It is a wait and see. I have the next infusion two weeks from now.
