Once Upon a Child Sayville

Not sure if any of you go to the Once Upon a Child in Hicksville, but they are opening up a new one in Sayville (YAY!!) on June 8th for buy backs. They are buying gently used clothes sizes newborn to 16. I love the one in Hicksville, but since I live all the way out east it's more of a pain. Just an FYI!!

Re: Once Upon a Child Sayville

I dropped a bunch of clothes off today, they aren't open for buying until around August he said. Too bad because I had my eye on quite a few things! Now I'll have to wait!

The store is big though and stocked with a lot of brand new stuff too that they will carry. They have some great Melissa & Doug things.

They are a little backed up, so I have no idea how much they are giving me for my things, he said they would call later or tomorrow. Not expecting much, but since it was all leftover from my garage sale, something is better than nothing.

Well, since they are trying to stock up for their opening, they probably give a little more than the Seaford store. I've heard the Seaford store gives like .50 or a $1.00 for a lot of things.

Re: Once Upon a Child Sayville

I ended up with $118 for the clothes/shoes I dropped off. They bought 61 pieces, so the per price piece wasn't that great, but better than nothing and I hate taking pics, etc. for ebay.

I have a bunch of stuff I am looking to get rid of, does it take them a while to give you a price?

I dropped it off Wed. afternoon and they called me Thursday afternoon to come down (I went today), so that wasn't too bad.
