one day surge

i took another digital opk test after my positive one yesterday. Same time as i alwasy do. well today it came up bfn. is it possible to only have a 1 day surge or maybe it was a false positive yesterday? my temps havent changed. im so confused

Yes, I only got a one day surge.
If you got a surge yesterday, more than likely you will O today, and your temps will shift tomorrow.

ETS: I would BD today, tomorrow & the following day just to be safe.

I only get a positive OPK for one day too. This article should answer your question.

thanks girls. :) Its so confusing. First of all I don't have any of my usual signs of ovulation other than a slight pain on my left side while bding last night (sorry if tmi). Last month i got 2 days of positiveI suppose it varies each month? I will bd tonight and again tomorrow and hope for the best. Thanks again girls -I'd be so lost without you

That sounds like a good plan. I wouldn't read too much into the number of positive OPK's you get. As long as you get that first positive, there's your green light to BD!! good luck!
