One Dead, Another Injured After Incident At Queens Center Mall

One person is dead and another injured following an incident at the Queens Center Mall.
Police say a 56-year-old woman either jumped or fell three stories, landing on another shopper.
Witnesses have told investigators that the woman took off her shoes and was mumbling before she jumped.
Sources say she fell on a 17-year-old who was reportedly getting a massage. He was taken to Elmhurst hospital where he is said to be in stable condition.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

OMG me too I wanted to go and get shoes for DD but decided against it bc of the weather.

I just called DH, he was there (NYPD), he said it was terrible.

wow, how sad
The fact that she took her shoes off and jumped head first makes me think maybe she was hallucinating or had some distorted thought that she was diving into a pool. So very sad
