One If By Land, Two If By Sea

has anyone been there recently. We've heard its the most romantic restaurant in NYC but the menu looks really weird. I mean, we're willing to try new things but do they offer anything less eccentric than Wild Rabbit, etc?

Anyone who could give a little insight to the menu--I would really appreciate it. I saw the one on their web site and wanted to see how updated it was.

Thanks.

I was there a couple of years ago,, and to be honest, I wasnt impressed.
The menu was not my taste, the portions were microscopic and it was WAY overpriced.
I think its a place to go just to say you were there! I would def not go back!

I totally agree.

There are other restaurants that are way better.

We were there during restaurant week a few years ago. Honestly, I've been to much better (and cheaper) restaurants. Everyone kept talking about how great it was and I went and still don't know what all the hype was about. I'm not sure if it's because it was restaurant week.

They always participate in restaurant week...I would go then for 35 a person to experience it....that is what we did and really enjoyed it.
