One last food post for a Birthday party

23 people (17 adults, 5 teenagers and my kid)

We scratched both pizza and BBQ.

Our current plan is to make a tray of sausage and peppers and a tray of baked ziti and then order a 3ft chicken parm hero from the deli (which includes one salad per foot)

Do we think that is enough?

TIA!Chat Icon

I would add in some crusty bread and a green salad.

Sounds good! Maybe two trays of ziti?

Re: One last food post for a Birthday party

I would probably do two trays each. One tray will feed like 8-10...I thinkChat Icon

I agree with the above.

I'd say two trays of each.

Thats sounds great. Especially the chicken parm hero! What kinds of salads? potato, macaroni, cole slaw? Maybe you can make a regular tossed or caesar salad also. Or a mixed greens with spinach and walnuts and stuff.

Re: One last food post for a Birthday party

I would do two trays of ziti (extras freeze awesome for nights when you don't feel like cooking).

does one salad per foot mean you have an option of 3?

if so, I'd do potato, slaw, and green salad. or maybe one potato and 2 green salad.

I'd also do a quick veggie....maybe throw some asparagus spears on a baking sheet with salt, pepper, and olive oil at 425 until roasted. easy and done.

but if you don't think you'd need an extra veg for the crowd, the salad is fine.
