One Life to Live Question ...
Did Phil Carey (ASA) pass away in real life?
Found this:
In late March 2007, it was announced that Carey would be exiting the show after nearly thirty years. Carey turned down an offer to go to recurrring status with the show. He last aired on April 26, 2007
So maybe not ...

He didn't die, he just chose not to renew his contract. They only wanted to give him "part time" work. (I forgot the exact terminology they used).

I was wondering this to today if he really passed away or not, Thank you for confirming that he is alive. Speaking of phil carey did you know a few years ago when i was in new york city, my mom and sister and I were in macy's and Guess who was in front of the line?????? That's right folks Phil carey himself.
